Interchromosomal contacts between regulatory regions triggers stable transgenerational epigenetic inheritance in Drosophila 

 

In this paper we demonstrated the role of chromatin contacts in establishing epigenetic inheritance in Drosophila, developing a synthetic biology system to artificially induce chromatin contacts between two distant loci in vivo.
